Sergej Strid is a Swedish pianist, conductor and translator. In recent years, he has initiated and directed a number of large projects, involving orchestras and choirs with more than a hundred participants. Highlights include Beethoven’s opera Fidelio, Mozart’s Requiem, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9, and Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy.
He is motivated by accomplishing the seemingly impossible. His work is characterized by high quality standards, efficiency, and careful attention to detail.
